Creating admin accounts

How do i give admin rights to users making them able to protect and delete pages ?

i tried a lot of variants on this commando
Update user SET us_group =’Sysop’ where user_name=’Jsl’

but i still havent found the right one..

We only package the application, so we are not really experts and don’t know exactly how to do it either. You should ask in the Mediawiki official site
