Hi, The most easy and secure way is: 1. Stop the servers You can copy this folder in the same path in a different linux machine to restore it (it is not necessary to restore in the same OS). I hope it helps. |

Hi, Have you copied the the directory in the same location? Is it a 32bits distribution or a 64 bits? |
Thanks..Its from a Ubuntu Server 64bits installation to a VMWare Ubuntu Server 64bits machine. |
And yes, its in the same directory |
In this case you need to install the compat libraries to run 32 bits applications in 64 bits platforms:
Cheers. |

Checked and it not works…I’m totally confused, because in the original server all was fine and I had any problems to install. |
Did you checked the RAM memory? Do you have 1024 Mb or more? Please check the following bug in MySQL http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=13002 |

Hi, problem solved. It was an stupid error….. I was extracting it in the root home folder, not in / . |
Hehe :) I’m glad to hear this. |
Which folder are you referring to when you say, ‘the whole folder’? |
I’m referring to the installation directory. If you are using the Virtaul Appliance or the Amazon image the Stack is installed in /opt/bitnami. |
