[Joomla] setting root domain

Hi guys, I’m trying to set up my server so www.mydomain.com (currently shows BitNami splash) shows as the homepage instead of www.mydomain.com/joomla.

I’ve changed the document roots to the following:

DocumentRoot “/opt/bitnami/apps/joomla/htdocs”

and

but its not corrected the issue.

Any bright ideas?

That is right. Did you restart the Apache server?

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
