SMTP for Windows?

I’ve been receiving the error “Notification email could not be sent” while creating/updating users with the “Notify user” box checked. I’m aware DokuWiki’s PHP engine needs a SMTP transport to deliver the messages but I was wondering where should I configure those parameters, like host, port and from address.

Any ideas? Thanks much in advance!

You probably need to edit ‘php.ini’ file and fill in the smtp configuration. You have a guide in DokuWiki’s own wiki, here
