Lost password for phpmyadmin, Drupal on Ubuntu

I also am so confused,

I installed the Drupal stack on the virtual machine and can logon to the new machine using SSH and firefox.

When I try to logon to phpmyadmin using the account “administrator” none of the passwords I used during the setup don’t work.

I don’t know what to do next
