phpmyadmin error #1045

hi, I tried to access phpmyadmin. The first window took the “administrator” login name and my users password, but then failed using those and my proper user name giving error #1045in the next window…cannot login to mysql server…

My goal by installing mediawiki on my iBook G4 PPC is to install an offline wikipedia viewer. Anyone that can simplify that with good instructions would as well be greatly appreciated !

In the phpMyAdmin login page, you should use the “root” user and the password the same that you set during the installation or “bitnami” for Virtual Appliances or AMIs.
