Hi I am sure this question has been answered a thousand times but I am having issues starting phpmyadmin, here is my error:
I followed the direction from BitNami with the default user name (administrator) and password (bitnami) Thanks |

Hi, Check the /opt/bitnami/apps/phpmyadmin/htdocs/config.inc.php file if there is your root password there. |

Hi Beltran, So I checked the config.inc.php file and try all the combinations of the user name and password. When I use administrator as user I at least get in, when I user root as user it does not let me in. I started up mysql from command and and did a query for all user the only user that show up are (root 3 times) and (bitnami once). Does that help? Thanks for getting back to me. |

It is strange. You only need to access using administrator and you have access to the database as root user. Could you post the exact ami that are you using? |

Thanks Beltran, it all works! However I do have another question for you. How do I change my url to point a directory instead of the bitname home. |
|
|
Just figured it out, I just changed the document root in the httpd.conf file to point to my drupal htdocs folder. |

Right, I’m glad to hear you fixed the issue. |
