1.5.15-0 timezone problem

Running mamp on OS X Snow Leopard. Installed Joomla! 1.5.15-0 component, en-US translations. Joomla does not show Pacific Daylight Time! its stuck on PST ugh

phpinfo() shows correct PDT time so does date.

Any hints on how to fix this?

Hi,

You should configure the time “offset” variable in the configuration.php file (installdir/apps/joomla/htdocs/configuration.php).

var $offset = ‘0’;
