Segmentation fault

I have tried the KT installer both as root and normal user and get a segmentation fault almost immediately after executing the installer.bin file.
I have tried this on Mandriva 2009.0 using both a 32 and 64 bit machine, kernel is 2.6.27.14 with a typical install and updated to most recent.

The only thing logged in /var/log/messages is;
kernel: bitnami-knowled⁵⁵⁹⁰: segfault at b03e98fb ip b03be8c0 sp bf80e26c error 7

Any ideas of what the cause, and hopefully solution is?

‘—mode xwindow’ seems to resolve the issue and allows the installer to run.

Yes, it is a known bug but we are updating the stacks when the application releases a new version. As you said, ”- – mode xwindow” solve the issue.
