Alfresco and other Plugins

Hi,

First of all, I would like to say thanks for the great work you have done on this linux stack. I had issues trying to do the install from scratch and this stack saved me alot of time.

However I have come across an issue with plugin installation. Basically I install the plugins and in my catalina.out it shows that they have been copied but not deployed. And the plugins do not show up on the add content.

I will update here when I find a solution… However if anyone has any hints or tips I would be muchly appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for report this issue. I’m reading about this error and it’s possible that you have to modify this file:

apache-tomcat/webapps/liferay/WEB-INF/classes/portal-ext.properties

I’m trying to resolve the error too, if you find any solution please report it, thanks.

Hi Beltran,

I have edited that file… And there was still an issue with the registration of the plugins I was trying to install.

I changed the configuration of the Destination Directory and deploy folder from the configuration and still no cigar..

I will keep on attempting to resolve the issue and keep this thread updated.

We have released a new BitNami Liferay Stack which update Liferay application to 4.4.1 version and it fixes the plugin installer issue. Enjoy!
