Access to mssql

We are using MediaWIKI VM 1.16 and are hosting not only WIKI but also some other PHP pages. I tried to access some mssql databases from the php stack and found that mssql support does not seem to be installed.
I tried to add the sybase package, copy the relevant SOs to the extension directory and enable them in php.ini. But still no luck

Is there any documented way to get mssql support in the VM?

Hi,

You can download the LAPP Virtual Appliance and then install the Mediawiki installation. The BitNami modules runs on top of MySQL database for the moment, so you have to configure it manually.
