uploading files to skin/common/images

Hi,

I tried to upload files to mediawiki/htdocs/skins/common/images but it tells me permission denied.

I tried sudo chown -R bitnami:daemon[space?] /opt/bitnami/apps/mediawiki/htdocs/skins/common/images

nothing happens after typing that command. Still the same permission problem happens when trying to upload file.

Any idea how to get around this? Really appreciate your help.

Try the following:

$ sudo chown bitnami:daemon -R /opt/bitnami/apps/mediawiki/htdocs
