Installing Moodle Stack on XP

Hi
I downloaded 1.9.5-1 and while installing on MS XP this message came up Error 2003(HY000):can’t connect to mySQL Server on “localhost” (10061)
so I had no option to abort the installation.
I would appreciate a dig out here,thanks.

It is strange, do you have any firewall enabled? Could you try to remove the installation folder and install it with the firewall disabled?

I disabled the windows firewall and there is no change.
