How to get Bitnami Spree to look like the original admin overview page?

Now, Bitnami Spree Administration > Overview page just says :
Welcome to the Overview Page. This is a placeholder for some real content. Eventually we envision a bunch of “widgets” summarizing recent activity and other elements of interest.

How to get Bitnami Spree to look like the original admin overview page like below?

Spree Administration → Overview look populated with charts like this

I think Spree is simply a bit out of date. We will update it. Could you try to update it directly with “gem update spree” ?

Xp computer has a running up-to-date copy of Spree. Started with the manual method command :- rails server.

Will gem update spree work in this case? If so, which directory to run?
