Could not access webdav location

hi,
I am trying to create a redmine server using the bitmani remine stack. for testing purposes i have used the default configuration of webdav. the apache server is working but when i try to add new network place by adding (http://localhost/uploads)then i get “The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another”. Can anyone help me with this?

Sorry, could you post more details? Could you check the apache2/logs/error.log file?

I have used the default configuration file provided in the stack both the httpd.conf and httpd-dav.conf.

Hi,

I think that davlock module is also necessary to enable it. Also this module requires to create an admin user in the database using the htdigist command:

> htdigest -c “C:/Program Files/BitNami Redmine Stack/apache2/user.passwd” DAV-upload admin

I have enabled the davlock module and added the location. but when i copied a file into the location i get errors. please see the attached file. Could you also tell me the steps how to use the webdav to manage the files in redmine.

DavLockDB “C:/Program Files/BitNami Redmine Stack/apache2/var/DavLock”

Can you tell me how can i configure webdav to manage the redmine files and documents?

Sorry not sure what do you want to manage. Redmine saves the uploaded files at “installdir/apps/redmine/files”

Sorry for not clearing this out first time. what i wanted to do is manage the redmine uploaded files according to different project using webdav plugin in redmine. with the default configuration i am not able to manage files according to projects.

Yes, in this case change the web-dav configuration file to point the the folder that I previously posted.

Changing the location just points to the different folder and that works also but i wanted to view the files according to the different projects. and also i want to use the redmine users to access the webdav location.

Sorry I think that this is not possible. You can access to the files from the project page in the redmine application but not from the webdav.
