Unable to start apache on Ubuntu
|

Hi all, I installed tracks recently. and although it worked out of the box, on reboot of my laptop, I found that going to the URL, I was getting a failed to connect error. On starting apache manually I get the below. christian@christian-laptop:/opt/tracks-1.7-0$ ./ctlscript.sh restart apache what can I do? |

Hi, It seems that you have installed the tracks application as root user. Try to start the servers using “sudo”:
I hopè it helps. |

Ok, so that helps, but how do I ensure that it starts each time I boot. I don’t want to have to run this command as root each time. On another note, I’m now able to get the tracks start page, but when clicking on the tracks start link. I get the following: Service Temporarily Unavailable |
