Error loading SugarCRM

I’ve downloaded bitnami-sugarcrm-6.1.5.0-opensuse and tried to install it at our vCenter Server. When starting the Machine, I get the Error ‘The device disk 1 has a not assisted Backing Type …’. When I try to change the properties of the machine, I get the error ‘SparseVer2BackingInfo-HD …’.
I use VMware vCebterServer Ver. 4.1.0 on an ESX-System.
How can I start the machine?

If you want to run on VMWare ESX or ESXi you can use the vmkfstool to import/export the machine:

$ vmkfstools -i original.vmdk new.vmdk

thank you for the fast answer. But I can’t find that program. At our vSpere-VM it is not located, and google gives many Tips to use, but no downloads. At VMWARE is also no download link…

I had last week no time to test it (rollout of Xpressions from Siemens …), but now I can try it again. I use the vSphere Client to manage the VM’s, and I uploaded the vmdk successful to the vmfstore (the parts seems to be automatic joined during upload, cool).
But there is no Task at the menu to start a console.
The message I get is (translated from german, sorry):
The device ‘hard disk 1’ has a not supported BackingType. This is a general restrictoin of the version of virtual hardware of this virtual machine at the selected host.

Sorry Dieter, not sure what could be happening. I suggest to try to download ESXi and check if vmkfstools is included in the installation.
