Starting WAMPStack post boot
Hi If it is switched off at boot time, I can’t get access to WAMPStack (no test page/localhost access) if I subsequently switch it back on (unless I then re-boot with it switched on). I can see the drive OK. It states in the manual to use the Bitnami WampStack Service shortcut in the Start Menu but I don’t seem to have this (have Launch & website but not Service). I’ve tried running servicerun.bat (from Run…) but nothing seems to happen (still no access). What do I need to do? Thanks |

Think there’s a bit more to this than meets the eye. I’ve tried launching Bitnami Wampstack from the menu shortcut. This runs http://KEITHHOME/ which it the name of the local PC on which Bitnami is installed. However i get an error from Firefox ‘Unable to connect. Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at keithhome.’ What is happening? Any help gratefuly received! Regards |

Hi, Could you go to the Windows service panel and check if the servers are running: wampApache and wampMySQL? Could you start them? Could you check that the drive name has not changed? |
