WAMP - where's phpmyadmin?
|
|
I’ve installed the WAMP stack with MediaWiki. MediaWiki works like a charm and it was quite painless. However, I have no idea how to start phpmyadmin. I did read the accompanying docs, and what I could find on the web. There are the expected folders with scripts, etc, but no related entry in the ‘start menu programs’. Attempting to access a script via the browser does nothing. What have I missed? Thanks mjf 2009/06/24 – Found it! Now I just need to get the password right… |

Hi, Try to go to http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin. The user is “administrator” and the password is the same that you used during the installation. Cheers. |

Bingo! Thanks! |

Shouldn’t a link to phpmyadmin be automatically installed in the Start menu for each MySQL stack? (Before I found this support post, I was trying to download phpmyadmin from SourceForge etc) |

There is a link to phpMyAdmin in the welcome page of any PHP Stack. |
