CentreSIS Installation - HTTP500 Error
Hello, I have literally been hunting around the web and these forums for some kind of solution for the past week and a half. I am currently trying to install CentreSIS (the explicit instructions are found at http://doc.centresis.org/doku.php?id=install:windows) I have reached the part where they ask me to open a browser and go to “http://127.0.0.1/centresis/diagnostic.php” For me, I am using port 8080 because of issues with port 80, so I am accessing everything as http://127.0.0.1:8080/ Each time I try to access that page or any of the pages in my ‘centresis’ directory within /apps/ I see an error message stating “HTTP 500 Internal Server Error” Anyone have some ideas of how I might be able to resolve this? I’ve consistently had issues restarting the wappapache service on my Windows system (windows 7)— it never seems to work! I am at a total loss here, so any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time! |

Hi, Could you post the last entries of the Apache log file: apache2/logs/error ? |
I apologize in advance as it appears quite extensive. Here are the results from the “error” file: [Mon Nov 30 00:29:27 2009] [notice] Apache/2.2.13 (Win32) PHP/5.2.10 configured — resuming normal operations |

It seems that there is something wrong in the application or a configuration issue.
Maybe you can find more help in the application forum itself, cheers. |

Are there supposed to be two slashes indicated here? “\\” Thanks! |

This is normal on Windows platforms, do not worry about this. |

Jim, You may want to check with the source directly — Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum specifically for IT Pros located here http://tinyurl.com/7jq7ps . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback. Jessica |
