Installing PEAR ...

I’m currently trying to get up and working VFront which requires PEAR and complaing about it missing.

I’m using Windows XP, with root privileges. I tried to install PEAR with

..\php go-pear.phar

from within the stack PEAR directory selecting the default system-wide installation but I ma prompted over and over again for the same paths.

Any hint on what am I doing wrong?
