Unable to install

I’ve downloaded the installer twice now, the installer seems to be ‘intact’ etc.

However, when I launch the installer, the Bitnami splash logo shows, then abruptly disappears. Looking at Task Manager, it shows that the installer is using 36,920K of memory – around half that of the installer.

Does this mean that the installer is failing to load because of an issue with the download, being corrupt for example?

Also, running in compatibility mode for XP or Vista shows the installer using 74xxx K of memory. I’m using Windows 7 Home Premium, if that makes a difference.

Never mind, the installer just loaded up – took it’s time though… I’d been waiting for something like 5 minutes each time, which is a long time compared to most installers.

It takes some time because Windows 7 copy the installer content to a temporary directory. This issue is related to Windows approach not related to the installer approach. Thanks for posting it.
