Installing WordPress on local BitNami

I am a newbie to WordPress and BitNami. I have figured out a bit, but am having trouble installing WordPress plugins into my local install of BitNami/ WordPress. I keep getting an error indicating non-response from the server. Any thought? |

Hi, It is strange. Which version are you using and what is your Operating System? Could you check that the machine has internet connection? |

I am using BitNami on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.5.8 (all updates installed), WordPress 3.2.1-0, and BitNami. My MacBook Pro has an active Internet connect? Is there a separate setting or configuration in BitNami or WordPress? |

Hi, There is not any additional setting. Which WordPress plugin are you trying to install? Could you post the exact steps that you are following and the exact error that you are receiving? |
