Wordpress Not Loading Images

I have installed bitnami w/ wordpress on vista. I am able to view the website but the images and wordpress theme will not load. Has anyone had this problem? Or know of a solution? Thanks

Is it possible that the IP address has changed? are you accessing from your machine or from an external machine? Could you post if there is any error on apache2/logs/error_log ?

I am having exactly the same prob and i need help here, i guess its the apache prob, as beltran asked for the log so m attaching it with this post. I need it to fixes very soon coz my tasks are exhausting my pending queue as wp is not working properly as yet.

Hi,

The problem is that wordpress requires to specify the domain name or the IP. To modify this value try the following:

1. Start the servers: “./ctlscript.sh start” on Linux or OS X. On Windows they are probably started.
2. Open the BitNami console from the shortcuts on Windows or using “./use_wordpress” on Linux or OS X.
3. Run the following command:

mysql -u root -p
Password: (the password that you set during the installation)
mysql> USE bitnami_wordpress; UPDATE wp_options SET option_value=‘http://IP/wordpress/’ WHERE option_name=‘siteurl’ OR option_name=‘home’;

where IP is your public IP address or the domain name.

Thanks beltran it really helped its running now but still the query u set here had an error while i made it run on bitnami console with Error 1064 (42000) and SQL syntax error at line 1 …. but i dun care for it as its working noww thankss :) … btw i thought it could be the hotlinks that precent images and themes in apache.
