Could you post the exact error? What is the image size? Take a look to the Apache log file your_installdir/apache2/logs/error.log and post if you see any error.

We got it fixed, at least partial. We had to change the crontab entry. I suggest to include this also in the wiki-documentation as this is probably something for everybody:

… /opt/bitnami/apps/redmine/extra/svn/reposman.rb —redmine-host localhost:3001/ —svn-dir …

I installed the Drupal stack on the virtual machine and can logon to the new machine using SSH and firefox.

When I try to logon to phpmyadmin using the account “administrator” none of the passwords I used during the setup don’t work.

I don’t know what to do next

Which BitNami Trac version are you using? The BitNami Trac Stack includes Python, do you have another Python installation on your system?

You should not need anything else. Which version of PostgreSQL are you using? For the psycop2 that you are using you should have PostgreSQL 9.0.4 installed. Are you using the official installer of PostgreSQL?

You mention that you don’t have any error when you execute “import psycopg2”. Does the creation of new project with trac-admin works for you? Do you still get the same error?

Heres the error:

Maybe you can help us out with this?

Note: wenn I put a / before the localhost ( /localhost)

I just receive this in reposman.log

no further error but nothing happens

Yes, I tried, and it helped. I don’t get error “NameError: name ‘psycopg2’ is not defined”. But error in browser still persists. I restarted apache many times, removed and added a project, it did not help. How does trac get ‘bindings’ to postgresql module? May be I need to add some entry to file with list of bindings?

I already went through bitnami wiki and stack on that step about changing mysql root password.
All MYSQL command line returned the same error.

At least I find that I have ‘bn_bitnami’ user not ‘root’ set as root level user.

Next step question – how to set correctly connection to virtual servers (MySQL) addresses?
I want to connect with MySQL Workbench to my virtual appliences mysql db.
Is there somebody who have allredy expierence with bitnami magento and MAGMI import on it?

This is the default password. Are you trying to access from the Virtual Appliance itself or are you trying to access from another machine? Could you try to access running the following command?

$ /opt/bitnami/mysql/bin/myqsql -u root -p

You can only login from the same machine by default for security reasons. Take a look at http://wiki.bitnami.com/Components/MySQL#How_to_connect_to_the_MySQL_database_from_a_different_machine.3f to access from a different machine.

I checked both Magento virtual appliances and on both i have error on mysql root password ‘bitnami’.
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ’root’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)

The password for the bitnami user is “bitnami” by default. If you want to set the root password user, you should log in as “bitnami” user in the machine and then run the following commands:

$ sudo su
Password: <- specify the “bitnami” user password
# passwd <- set the new root password

I successfully downloaded Bitnami, running native on MAC. Then purchased a custom WP theme and installed both thru the dashboard and manually into the themes folder. I can see the structure of the theme in place, but cannot see any of the background, slider or image. I can right click where I know an image is… open in new tab, search for that file name and it says cannot be found…. but I can see it is in the folder.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

A file were copied, i did how you told me but test manager still does not appear in plugins list.
I’ve ran the script once again, then no files were copied, using admin privileges and via trac console, this is very awkward.

Edit: I’ve found whats was wrong, i’m using pyhton 2.5 and trying to install a plugin for 2.7, so… lol.

It should not be any problem with having more than one project. How did you execute the script? It should be run with administrator privileges. Please be sure that you execute it from a console with administrator privileges. If you are using the “Use BitNami Trac” shortcut in the Windows Start Menu click in the right mouse button and select “Run as administrator”, then execute the script in that console.

Victoria, thanks for reply, I am using trac version 0.12.2 and Python 2.5. I have downloaded and installed http://www.stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-… and now I have error in browser:
Cannot load Python bindings for PostgreSQL

and “python” >> “psycopg2” shows error also:

The problem was solved. When I started the EC2 instance you accidentally delete the key pair bound to the instance. The key pair created after creating the instance, was not bound. After finding the *. pem original access was performed.
