Topic: WordPress / can't get back to site Hi, It is possible that your IP has changed if you are in a different LAN. Try to access at http://127.0.0.1:8080 Take a look at http://wiki.bitnami.com/Applications/BitNami_Wordpress_Stack#How_to_change_the_default_URL.3f to know how to change the URL in the Wordpress application. If you only want to access Wordpress locally, you can install the Stack and set the 127.0.0.1 as hostname. |

Topic: WordPress / Over-written wp-config file Update: After doing some research, I was able to find the database name and re-entered the correct information into my wp-config.php file, and now when I try to open the site, I get this error message: “This webpage has a redirect loop. The webpage at ”http://localhost:81/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php">http://localhost:81/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. I’ve worked with the cookies and that did not seem to help. Any suggestions are welcome. |

The only problem is that lion is NOT supporting MySQL anymore but PostgreSQL with PHP 5. Does anybody know if it is possible to install red mine with Bitnami on this? I is fine for me to migrate manually but I can’t even get it installed. Here some more information about 10.7 http://www.apple.com/macosx/server/specs.html Web Hosting |

Topic: Virtual Appliances / Keyboard declaration on Ubintu 10.10 I installed the Joomla VM on Ubuntu 10.10 on a French PC with AZERTY keyboard. I haven’t been able to find a way to change keyboard settings from US to FR. All documentation I found seems to point to /etc/X11/xorg.conf which of course is absence since the Xserver is not installed. Any hints gratefully accepted. |

Topic: WordPress / Over-written wp-config file I recently shot myself in the foot when I over-wrote my wp-config.php file as I was preparing to install a WP site I created locally onto a web server. Now I get a database error when I try to access my local site. I went into wp-config.php and changed the settings back to what I thought were the correct ones; now I get the message that WordPress cannot select the database. How do I find the database name so I can get back into my local site? I am running WordPress 3.1.2 on Windows 7 Ultimate. |

Topic: WordPress / Wordpress newbie help I’m trying to install the Bitnami Wordpress stack on my iMac. In the Bitnami setup window, after I enter my user info and click next, it says “Please enter the port that the bundled Apache Server will listen to by default.” The default shows 8080 but when I click next, I get “Unable to bind to the given port number. Please select another one.” I do not know what this is or what I should enter. Please help!! Thank you |
