The first OpsCamp was such a great event, we’ve decided to return as a sponsor for OpsCamp San Francisco, which is happening May 15th. OpsCamp is focused on next generation IT technologies and strategies, especially with regards to virtualization, cloud computing and configuration management (although the topics change with each event). If you’d like to get an idea of the content covered at OpsCamp Austin, there are great write-ups here and here (podcast with transcript). OpsCamps are unconferences and sessions are typically conversations around a particular topic, rather than presentations, so everyone is encouraged to get involved.

We’re working with Groundwork, Zenoss and other sponsors to make sure the event is free for attendees.

If you’re on the East Coast, OpsCamp Boston is right around the corner. It’s being held on April 22nd at Microsoft NERD in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

If you’re interested in IT operations, we strongly encourage you to attend one of these free events. We’re confident you won’t be disappointed!
