What’s the advantage of the uninstaller as compared to simply dragging the DjangoStack directory to the trash?

Hi,

No so much difference. The uninstaller stop the servers before removing all files.

Oh, is that the case. So we can go on with any way to delete the Django Stack directory. I have a doubt over here. Can it be done for similar applications as well? What is the actual advantage of using the uninstaller? There should be some benefit in going this way of removing them.

You can do the same for all BitNami Stacks. The uninstaller will remove other installed files if it is necessary but in BitNami Stacks case you can stop the server and remove the whole directory. It is everything self-contained and it does not change your system.
