I have MAMPStack installed on my mac running snow leopard. I also have Parallels for Vista VM. Is there a way to access the loacalhost created by MAMPStack via IE on the virtual machine? When I paste the URl it gives a ‘not found’ error. Would love to test with IE.

Should I assume this isn’t possible?

Hi,

Yes it should be possible, what IP are you are trying? Open a Terminal and run the “ifconfig” command and you can see the IP that you have to put in the IE browser.

I was putting my local host http://127.0.0.1:8080/ and it was not working. I now have the new ip from the ifconfig command, now with your trick it is working. Append the :8080 to that address if anyone is having the same problem. Thanks Beltran.
