I am running MAMPstack on OSX 10.6.x and having trouble getting SSL to work. Is there a step by step guide?

i did everything on https://bitnami.com/forums/forums/redmine/topics… and the ONLY thing that sucks with mac is the firewall issues. i changed the port to 9080 for ssl with no other monkeying around with mac settings and ssl works like a charm. i would recommend doing something like that from the install on the get-go

example:

Listen 9080

DocumentRoot “/Applications/mampstack-1.2-4/apache2/htdocs”
ServerName localhost:9080

Tips on How to actually use port 443 on a mac would be great…

Hi,

We are improving our Wiki. Take a look at http://wiki.bitnami.com/Components/Apache#How_to_enable_SSL_to_access_through_https.3f I hope it helps.
