Hey, I’ve been trying out the MediaWiki stack for a few days on Mac OS X and so far it’s been very smooth sailing. However I’m getting a little tired of having to start the ctlscript every time I reboot. Is the a way to get the script to run when I log in? I’m wondering hat is the best way to get this set up and how do most do it? Thanks in advance.

Hi Felix,

Yes you can find a tip in our blog about how to install BitNami Stacks as services on OS X

If you install the BitNami Stack as service in your OS X, the MediaWiki servers start when you reboot your system. Also you can try to use the new Graphical Interface which is very easy to use. This graphical interface is included in the new MAMPStack and then you can install MediaWiki module over the MAMPStack.

I hope it helps you!
