I have install

- bitnami-rubystack-2.2-0-windows-installer.exe - bitnami-redmine-1.2.1-0-module-windows-installer.exe

but when I visit http://127.0.0.1/redmine
the browser(chrome/ie) tell me :

> Proxy Error
>
> The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
> The proxy server could not handle the request GET /redmine.
>
> Reason: Error reading from remote server

but the production.log tell me :

> Processing WelcomeController#index (for 127.0.0.1 at 2011-07-20
> 15:29:21) [GET] Parameters: {"action"=>"index",
> “controller”=>"welcome"} Rendering template within layouts/base
> Rendering welcome/index Completed in 37ms (View: 14, DB: 1) | 200 OK
> [http://127.0.0.1/redmine/]

apache log:

[Wed Jul 20 15:53:11 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] (20014)Internal error: proxy: error reading status line from remote server 127.0.0.1:3001 [Wed Jul 20 15:53:11 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] proxy: Error reading from remote server returned by /redmine [Wed Jul 20 15:53:11 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: D:/Tool/BitNami/apache2/htdocs/favicon.ico

I don’t config any proxy at IE/chrome.
what’s wrong?

Hi,

Could you try to restart the Apache server? You can do that from the Shortcuts of from the Windows service panel.

I have a similar error with Bitnami Redmine 1.2.0 and Windows 7 since yesterday evening. But Redmine ran fine until then, for months.
Well I don’t think this is a coincidence.

The last hours I tried so much things… now at least I can access Redmine via localhost and via the computer name, but I cannot access it from other computers. A port scan reveals that port 80 is filtered. Wireshark complies to it, the computer with redmine simply doesn’t reply at all.
The only change since yesterday evening were some windows updates… KB2532531, KB2507938 and KB2555917. I will investigate this problem further.

[edited] Could you try to access at http://127.0.0.1:3001/redmine from the same computer where you install it?

Hi,

Thats strange. If you can start the Mongrel services and the log file is ok, you should can access at http://127.0.0.1:3001/redmine or 3002 in the same machine that you installed the Stack.
