Hi,

I converted the bitnami VM VMDK file to VHD with the tool vmdk2vhd.

With this I could start my bitnami VM with Hyper-V, but bitnami VM does not have the Hyper-V enlightened network drivers enabled. So networking was not possible.

Here is a good description on how to run Ubuntu-Server with Hyper-V and enabled networking: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/virtual_pc_guy/archive/…

I followed this desription but unfortunately networking is still not possible.

My question is: How tu run a bitnami appliance with Hyper-V ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Could you try the following solution? http://blog.allanglesit.com/Blog/tabid/66/Entry…

Hi Beltrán,

the solution you are referring is the same as I posted.
In the meantime I gave up the VM solution and installed Ubuntu Server with Bitnami native LAMP-Stack.

Thank you, great piece of software.

Sorry. That is a good workaround. Cheers.
