From Beltrán Rueda’s forum help, I have put together this guide for anyone who may be struggling with the Wiki.

This is a step by step guide on installing VMware Tools 8.3.7 build-341836 with ESXi 4.1. It may or may not work with other versions.

Thanks again to Beltrán Rueda! :)

1. Boot the VM.
2. Login (user bitnami, password bitnami).
3. Login to the vSphere Client.
4. Right-click the VM and select “Guest>Install VMware Tools”.
5. Click ‘OK’.
6. The VM now has the VMware Tools CD.
