    First time install

    by Rian van deZanden on

I had not heard from Bitnami before. Installed Akeneo on Amazon EC2 and that was a lot easier then I expected. The application was extremely quick up and running. A great way to start.

After two weeks a newer version of Akeneo came out (version 1.4). I followed the Akeneo instructions for the upgrade - so far I am still struggling with what seems to be some environment settings related to composer.

    Amazing Product for Information Management

    by YFN Admin on

I launched this application myself (without any IT background) and everything went swimmingly. I ended up backing up the application with Amazon S3 using this http://s3tools.org/s3cmd. First I compress the /opt/bitnami folder using tar -zcvf akeneo-backup-12-29-14.tar.gz /opt/bitnami then I send it to Amazon S3 using the previously mentioned program.
