Open Ticket Request System (OTRS), also well known as Trouble Ticket System, is a web-based application allowing users to manage customer telephone calls and emails. The system is built to allow support, sales, pre-sales, billing, internal IT, helpdesk, etc. departments to react quickly to high volumes of inbound inquiries.
