Does this include the hosting charges for running my instance?
No, BitNami Cloud Hosting subscriptions do not include the cost of hosting your application. You will be charged directly by Amazon only for what you use.

What do I get with the free plan?
The free plan allows you to launch and manage one Micro or Small instance free of charge. Combined with Amazon's free tier offering, that means that you can run a Micro instance on the Amazon cloud with BitNami Cloud Hosting free of charge for one year. After the first year, your BitNami Cloud Hosting developer account will remain free of charge, however Amazon will start to charge you for usage of their platform. If you need a larger server, you can upgrade to one of our paid plans at any time.
Please note that you will be responsible for any charges to your Amazon account, which you may incur if you are not eligible for or exceed the limits of their free tier of service.
What happens if I cancel my subscription with BitNami Cloud Hosting?
If you decide to cancel your account, you will lose access to the BitNami Cloud Hosting platform, but your servers will continue to run on your Amazon Web Services account unless you terminate them. So, you are never locked in to using BitNami Cloud Hosting and can leave at any time without fear of having to 'start over' with your servers.
Do I need to provide a credit card to sign up?
No, no credit card is required. Note that you will need to have an account with Amazon Web Services, which does require a credit card, in order to use BitNami Cloud Hosting.
