With Bitnami, you get the same software stack and configuration regardless of where you are deploying Canvas LMS or other Bitnami Applications. This makes it easy to migrate between different platforms.

Canvas LMS is good and intuitive manipulate the class but it seems the integration of Redis is not packaged rightfully. It's not running at beginning over Ubuntu 14.04.3. Giving 3 starts is because the upload content can not be retrieve properly (e.g picture won't show up). it becomes the given package can barely useful. Hope that can be fixed. However, Canvas itself looks easy to get start with LMS.
The Bitnami Canvas LMS instance is showing "create new course" only for admin. I need to test how teacher can create course, also I need to understand student experience. Please advice.
Hi Sachin, Please refer to the Canvas LMS's documentation for app related questions. https://community.canvaslms.com/community/helpby Bitnami Staff on
Yes. I know. It's tricky, .It's a Hard Bone... but when you proper config run smooth. Don't Expect a turnkey solution with a installer. You need to config everything. Bitnami Just "install" the aplicattion but you make it rain.
Best Regards LMSers
Very easy to get up and running. However, the configuration for Redis is incorrect, so OAuth will not work.
Redis is set up to listen for connections at `/opt/bitnami/redis/var/run/redis.sock`, however the Rails-application looks for Redis on `localhost:6379` (even though it's set up differently in `config/redis.yml`).
Easy one click install but redis and file hosting are not setup at all. This makes me want to just use someone like Instructure or Canvasrooms
