Your use of Bitnami IP is subject to:

Bitnami is a trusted platform. To maintain that trust we need to manage the use of Bitnami and the components within it very carefully. This way, when people use Bitnami, or anything bearing the Bitnami brand, they can be assured that it will meet the standards they expect. Your continued use of Bitnami IP implies your acceptance and acknowledgement of this IPRights Policy.

Summary

Bitnami packages a wide range of software applications and supporting software. While much of the software packaged by Bitnami is open source, some applications are commercial and only limited-time trial versions are made available via Bitnami. In both cases, Bitnami software packages include trademarks that are the property of their respective owners and are made available under various trademark and licensing policies. You will need to reference those individual policies regarding the use of any trademarks contained within Bitnami packages.

Further:

  • You can download, install, deploy in the cloud and use Bitnami application packages and development stacks ("Bitnami Stacks") free of charge, except in the case of commercial applications, which are clearly identified as such.
  • You can modify Bitnami Stacks for personal or internal commercial use.
  • You can redistribute Bitnami Stacks, but only where there have been no modifications to them.
  • You can use our copyright, patent and design materials in accordance with this IPRights Policy.
  • You can be confident and can trust in the consistency of the Bitnami experience.
  • You can rely on the standard expected of Bitnami.

Your use of Bitnami

  • You can download, deploy and use Bitnami open source Stacks for free. Unless otherwise indicated, Bitnami Stacks are freely available to all users for personal, or in the case of organizations, internal use. Bitnami Stacks are provided for this use without warranty. All implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted at law.
  • You can modify Bitnami Stacks for personal or internal use. You can make changes to Bitnami Stacks for your own personal use or for your organization's own internal use.
  • You can redistribute Bitnami Stacks, but only where there have been no modifications to them. You can redistribute Bitnami Stacks in their unmodified form, complete with the installer images and packages provided by Bitnami (this includes the publication or launch of virtual machine images).

Any redistribution of modified versions of Bitnami must be approved, certified or provided by Bitnami if you are going to associate it with the Trademarks. Otherwise you must remove and replace the Trademarks and will need to recompile the source code to create your own binaries. This does not affect your rights under any open source license applicable to any of the components of Bitnami. If you need us to approve, certify or provide modified versions for redistribution you will require a license agreement from Bitnami, for which you may be required to pay.

We do not recommend using modified versions of Bitnami which are not modified in accordance with this IPRights Policy. Modified versions may be corrupted and users of such modified systems or images may find them to be inconsistent with the updates published by Bitnami to its users. If they use the Trademarks, they are in contravention of this IPRights Policy. Bitnami cannot guarantee the performance of such modified versions.
