Why use the Bitnami Discourse Stack?
Bitnami makes it easy to run Discourse in the cloud, locally or virtually. The Bitnami Discourse Stack is:
We track every release of Discourse and update our stack shortly after it's released.
If serious security issues are discovered, we provide new versions of Discourse as soon as possible, often within hours of the availability of a fix.
With Bitnami, you get the same software stack and configuration regardless of where you are deploying Discourse or other Bitnami Applications. This makes it easy to migrate between different platforms.
With the Bitnami Discourse Stack stack compiling, configuring and all of its dependencies are taken care of, so it works out-of-the-box.

Discourse was my very first stack I downloaded here from Bitnami. Back then I was afraid of setting up Discourse by myself since it was not written in an easy way in their GitHub repo. Then I discovered Bitnami and I really fell in love with their so-easy-to-use stacks! In less than 15 mins my Discourse instance was up and running on my own server. I really love the fact that this stack won't interfere with any other app running on my server. I'm now using Discourse with my friends for a course project at my University and we all love using Discourse every day. Thank you guys!
I've downloaded Bitnami Discourse for Azure https://bitnami.com/stack/discourse/cloud/azure and it was great fun to deploy it, configure it and make it my default blog commenting system. Documentation for Discourse as well for every Bitnami app is up to date and precise https://wiki.bitnami.com/Applications/BitNami_Discourse. I've wrote a blog post about my experience at http://webstackoflove.com/discourse-comments-for-ghost-on-windows-azure-vm/. Thanks Bitnami.
I have godaddy VPS (linux based, 2 GB RAM) and want to install discourse there. However, I am not getting how to install it or which installer of bitnami to use. I use windows 7 in my laptop. Please help
