The Bitnami Odoo Stack provides a one-click install solution for Odoo. Download installers and virtual machines, or run your own Odoo server in the cloud.

Odoo, formerly known as OpenERP, isn’t just one application. It’s hundreds. Odoo is an enterprise resource platform from which you can manage all your business operations – from supply chain and project management, to accounting and HR. Out of the box, Odoo includes messaging, sales CRM and reporting modules. Click the settings tab and you’ll be presented with nearly 2000 other modules – bug tracking, project management, timesheets, MRP, recruiting, calendar, warehouse management, and much, much more – that can be deployed with one click.

Bitnami Virtual Machines contain a minimal Linux operating system with Odoo installed and configured. This enables you to run the application without actually installing it on your computer. It's completely isolated from other software installed on your machine and makes an ideal sandbox for your project.

Using the Bitnami Virtual Machine image requires hypervisor software such as VMware Player or VirtualBox. Both of these hypervisors are available free of charge. After installing your preferred hypervisor, download and extract the Bitnami Virtual Machine by following the instructions in our getting started guide for VMware or VirtualBox.

Why use the Bitnami Odoo Stack?

Bitnami makes it easy to run Odoo in the cloud, locally or virtually. The Bitnami Odoo Stack is:

  • Up-to-date

We track every release of Odoo and update our stack shortly after it's released.

  • Secure

If serious security issues are discovered, we provide new versions of Odoo as soon as possible, often within hours of the availability of a fix.

  • Consistent

With Bitnami, you get the same software stack and configuration regardless of where you are deploying Odoo or other Bitnami Applications. This makes it easy to migrate between different platforms.

With the Bitnami Odoo Stack compiling, configuring and all of its dependencies are taken care of, so it works out-of-the-box.

    Great Web App

    by Michael Costa on

I never expected an open source App to be so User Friendly, Aesthetically Pleasing and Robust. The amount of "things' this suite does is amazing. I have had a few issues but a quick forum search solved most of them.

    Give it a try.

Ensure to open Port 80 when deploying to AWS

    by Ermin Trevisan on

I deployed Odoo 8 to AWS and was wundering, why I could not access Odoo. After some research using Google I found the following post http://www.schmalte.com/author/schmalte/ which indicated to open Port 80 in the corresponding AWS security group. Please add this to the Bitnami installation documentation.

    Thanks!
