Not as easy as I would have liked, but manageable

    by Kathy Darling on

I just wanted to dabble in Amazon hosting and was kind of adrift without a CPanel to use. The bitnami installer took care of installing all the components, including the database. It would be nice if the WordPress core in the image was updated to WP4.3, but it is trivial to update once inside the WP admin. I would also suggest switching the email plugin from WP SMTP to Postman.
