The Bitnami WordPress Multisite Stack provides a one-click install solution for WordPress Multisite. Download installers and virtual machines, or run your own WordPress Multisite server in the cloud.

WordPress Multisite is the same software that powers Wordpress.com, enabling administrators to host and manage multiple websites from the same WordPress instance. These websites can all have unique domain names and can be customized by their owners, while sharing assets such as themes and plugins that are made available by the server admin. Updates to all sites can be pushed at once, ensuring that they are always kept safe and secure.

With WordPress Multisite, content creators are still free to publish in the same WordPress interface they know and love, without having to worry about updates and backups. WordPress Multisite is great for organizations such as universities, corporations, and agencies that need to enable many people to host their own websites while giving overall control to a central administrator.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We want to let you know that we worked on configuring a transparent xip.io domain to the current IP address of the different instances. Without this, you may get a "Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress" error message. This change was implemented in the version 4.8-2 of the Bitnami stack and it will help the users to use the application with a preconfigured domain name. https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/wordpress-multisite/ Regards, Jota

    Up and Running Quickly!

    by Blair Main on

I am running a Wordpress Multisite Network using the Bitnami Stack, and all I have to say is... Perfect! I ran into install issues using the wordpress install method, and kept reinstalling, trying to get it right. Bitnami solves all of the aggravation. I also managed to issue SSL certs with Letsencrypt, via certonly method. 5/7 would recommend to my friends.
