Why use the Bitnami OpenProject Stack?
Bitnami makes it easy to run OpenProject in the cloud, locally or virtually. The Bitnami OpenProject Stack is:
We track every release of OpenProject and update our stack shortly after it's released.
If serious security issues are discovered, we provide new versions of OpenProject as soon as possible, often within hours of the availability of a fix.
With Bitnami, you get the same software stack and configuration regardless of where you are deploying OpenProject or other Bitnami Applications. This makes it easy to migrate between different platforms.
With the Bitnami OpenProject Stack stack compiling, configuring and all of its dependencies are taken care of, so it works out-of-the-box.

Awesome, but good documentation is still needed, specially for hosting and deployment details on public and private server. Good for our web based project management.
The app really has a lot of features and can be customized significantly. I really like the work package screen. The backlogs page is also very useful.
I downloaded the appliance (4.0.4-1) to evaluate openproject, very useful. The previous 4.0.4-0 has some glitches, this one seems working perfectly.
Hope everything will work well till the end of evaluation.
Am using the following redmine stack:
- Apache 2.4.4
- ImageMagick 6.5.6-8-Q8
- MySQL 5.5.32
- Subversion 1.7.5
- Git 1.8.3
- Ruby 1.9.3-p231-i386-mingw32
- Rails 3.2.13
- RubyGems 1.8.12
Unable to install the openproject module. Following error throws up.
C:/Bitnami/redmine-2.3.2-0/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/bundler-1.3.5/lib/bundler/dsl.rb:227:in `block in _normalize_options': `ruby_21` is not a valid platform. The available options are: [:ruby, :ruby_18, :ruby_19, :ruby_20, :mri, :mri_18, :mri_19, :mri_20, :rbx, :jruby, :mswin, :mingw, :mingw_18, :mingw_19, :mingw_20] (Bundler::GemfileError)
Very usefull, it has a lot of features to help the team project.
I can work as scrum, traditional or only with same features in those methodologies with OpenProject.
I hope soon a new version for mobile.
Thanks OpenProject and Bitnami, Bitnami save my time.
